I had a delivery it arrived in about 50 minutes wasn’t cold well cooked food was banging and i would definitely recommend i hope i come again although i couldn’t rate the service in an honest review because i had delivery but its a thumbs up from me

Have tried other places but this is by far the best indian restaurant in Leighton Buzzard. Never disappoints!

Had my meal been sitting waiting for a delivery driver? The taste was excellent but the temperature was cool. Delivery stated as 90 minutes (long enough) came in at over two hours. Disappointed

In general terms, food was quickly delivered, much quicker than advised by the online ordering system and OK, my Korma was fine and the Tarka Dal excellent but my husband wasn't happy with the Dansak and the Motor Paneer, was a let down, paneer as far as I am concerned should be solid chunks and not melted into what I can only describe as a sweet sauce with pea.

The food we had was very good we both enjoyed it. But it was spoilt by the fact they did not complete the order & forgot to deliver all the items.nwe called and they arrived back 30 mins later with the rest off it.

The rice was over priced, I expected a bigger portion for that price, but overall it was delicious, really easy to order and really good value.

Hadn't been back for years and now I remember why! Took hour and half for delivery which should have been 40-45 mins (they weren't busy). Chased twice poor attitude towards us giving excuse after excuse. Food arrived cold

We often use the Raj but on this occasion we found the sauces in the main dishes to be very watery, I had a Bhuna and it was very weak and not very tasty. It had one wedge of tomato and 5 pieces of chicken, the rest of it was just a weak sauce. Will try again but we were disappointed on this occasion.

Excellent curry, fresh and delivered very hot, took over an hour but Friday night so expect they were busy! As always plenty of large meat pieces in delicious sauce and always packed the takeaway tins right to the top - good value for money and would order again :)

Whether we eat in at the lovely Sunday Buffet or get a takeaway, this restaurant is consistently reliable - great food and good value.

Once again we had an excellent meal - very tasty and it arrived nice and hot. It arrived slightly delayed but the restaurant phoned to apologise and give us an arrival time. Good customer service. Well done and this is definitely our favourite take away.

Time was tight last night so a quick curry prior to getting out of the door prompt was required. The order was placed for 7.15 arrival, it came at 7pm. The meal was lovely and the service second to none. Thank you Raj.

Ordered another fabulous takeaway last night and the food arrived hot, tasty and just as we expected.

The food came quickly and it wasn't dripping in ghee. Really really tasty and the onion bargees were really generous. We ordered two portions and each one was very generous and tasty. Will definitely use again.

Everything was excellent except the naan bread wich seemed more doughy than usual and seemed undercooked (keema naan and peshwari) which was a bit disappointing as normally they are very tasty.

First time ordering from the Raj. It arrived spot on time and the 2 meat dishes were nice and hot enough but the rice and naan were not warm, the naan was rubbery and the veg curry was very watery. I would like to think this was a one off but would be reluctant to try again

First time I had bought a meal from this restaurant. It arrived on time - and was delicious... I definitely recommend them and will use them again soon!!

This restaurant might not look all modern and have loads of mirrors in it! But the food is outstanding by far the best in Leighton Buzzard. The staff are friendly and pleasant and if you have a take away the food is always delivered quickly by a lovely older chap and is of the highest quality.

We had to wait an hour and a half for the curry and then weren't impressed at all. The poppadums were greasy and a bit stale, the chicken was tough and the sauce had a strange after taste.It was a very average curry and I don't think we will be ordering from there again.

Decided to use Curries Online after a few months off. Nice surprise to see 20% off for collection so ordered Prawn Dupiaza and Chicken Tikka Biriani with rice, naan and sides for £16. Great value and a lovely, tasty, filling meal. Top notch!

Very enjoyable and value for money curry. Very tasty. Had a good mix of dishes (Pasanda, Garlic Chilli Chicken and Madras) - all very flavoursome.

The Raj is normally excellent quality and fairly reasonable, although they seem to contain less meat in dishes nowadays. Getting free salad, poppadoms and raita was a nice touch though.

It was nice being able to order online. That process was starightforward and hassle-free.The guy that delivered was polite, friendly and on time.The food however was almost cold, certainly not hot and that really set the tone for the rest of meal. So disappointed. Didn't bother eating it all, in fact threw quite a lot away.

I like the Raj for take away, always delivered quickly and efficiently, and is good value. their spice mix is not too hot, which is good for my wife as she doesn't like things too hot.

We always use the Raj as they make the best not too hot curry in town and I would recommend them.

The food was lovely as usual and delivery efficient and polite. Stupidly ordered some chips and really wished I hadn't bothered, they tasted like cardboard. However, chips are not usually what you would order from a curry house, so don't let that put you off! The rest of the order was excellent and we will order from The Raj again. Thank you!

Very nice meal. The only part that was a little disappointing on the value aspect only was the tandoori mixed grill, which at over £10, wasn't a very sizeable portion, and one of the pieces of meat in it was very chewy!

Picked up right on time, great food

I like my curries hot and I have tried many curry houses. I was very impressed with the lamb Adhraki I ordered. Lamb was tender and had a thick spicy sauce. I like the Raj, you can tell they use fresh ingredients and don't simply add more chilli powder to make curries hotter like others I've tried.

First time used and was impressed with ease to order and delivery. The rice and extras were great but the main course was over salty and we could not eat it. Did not complain, but it has tainted us using again

I'm not Indian, but have been to that fascinating country. In my limited experience the food from the RAJ is authentic. More importantly - it's also delicious!

Food arrived as requested, delivery person was friendly. Food was lovely. I had onion bhajis and Jalfrezi, both of which were excellent.

The RAJ is probably my favourite Indian Restaurant. It's very good value and very nice.Sometimes all you can taste with curries is a slightly spiced paste. But the RAJ has beautiful flavours. It's just brilliant!

Tried Curries Online for the first time. Nicely presented site, easy to order. Food came within about 40 mins, which was what I was expecting and a top notch curry too. Sauces really tasty. Lovely rich Lamb Bhuna and same for the Chicken Tikka Masala. Huge Peshwari Naan. Too. Excellent meal and very reasonable price too. Will definitely be doing this again!

firstly, the onion bhajis were fantastic!we've had many nice meals (usually eating in) at the raj, but this was the first takeaway from there. flavours were great, but chicken was not the greatest - felt as though it had maybe been left cooking for too long...however, won't put us off the raj!

Usual good meal, only criticism was that we did not have enough condiments for the poppadums, very small pots.
